Been back to Cameron Highlands for three days,nothing much…just eat sleep and rest…lol…It’s the first time i drove back on my own to home.And let’s just say I am so not familiar with the roads in KL….

It’s been a long time since I updated any photos.And it’s really getting to become a “text only” website. So here are some photos of my convocation last month….There’s not much pictures as my camera got some problems that day…(Of all the days it had,it had to broke down on that day!)Will try to upload more soon…

Convo was so much fun!and so touching at the same time….Everybody had such a great time that day.The sing along together after the ceremony was great!But that was the time that I realized I seriously gain some weight after graduating…(A:Tze Khang,you are so heavy…. B:Tze Khang,I never knew you were so heavy….you looked so thin…) Aiyo,paisehlah ppl….Sorry if I almost broke your arms that day….keke..

After a few months of keep on talking and no acting…Finally I quitted my 3 month job at CIMB bank on the 19th of September.It was hard keeping a straight face on the last day of my job…I knew that deep down my heart I was actually grateful that I can escape from the hectic and heavy workload.Although it was a short 3 months there but it was a good experience.A big thank you to my colleagues Erica,Doreen,Suhana,Nur Suhana,Amalina and many others for the precious experience.Another big thank you to my friend/colleague/ex uni pusat-mate Ah Soon for his support when I was feeling very very down..

I am taking postgraduates studies in Semenyih from now…just came back from my first week there actually.It’s been a whole new experience and whole new beginning.It didn’t started on a good note (with all the accommodation problems and etc) but it’s ok for now.It’s going to be a rough year ahead as the study “style” there is so different from UKM but hopefully it will end well..keeping my fingers crossed!

Almost one month working at CIMB bank….starting to feel a different kind of pressure…I love to talk with customers to offer them money but it’s another thing when they dont want the amount of money that you are offering them.Some customers are so rude that it makes you just want to go to their house and slap and punch them in the face while some are so thankful for your loan offer they just kept on thanking you…this are the cases that makes me to keep on working on this job…

Back at UKM today…just to check out how are my juniors doing…it’s the MMM (or rather the MMP as they call it now) season….and here I am updating my blog thanks to Kian Yoong’s kindness… (Thanks a lot man !) .I can only say this year “wah!…. so many girl new students….” the ratio of them to the disappearing male species is almost 3 to one…lucky you Seen…

Anyway it’s just a short update for now…so late now…got to go sleep lu…keep in contact always guys…

P/S : Yours truly will be graduating on 10th of August this year ! (Thank God I made it ! XD)

Got the Job at CIMB ^^ yay…looking forward to the new environment…..but now more then ever I really hope that I can grad in time >.< Quite scary (or simply a nightmare) if I start work and signed work contract and suddenly get news I have to extend a semester….Oh Dear..Pray hard that won’t happen !

Final paper tomorrow…after that thesis presentation…. JYJY Tze Khang…you just have to turn out alive after both of it ~~

One whole month…what have I done? well first of all i did a lot of things in the month of April…

1)Work and future : Well I got the job offer from Fuji Electrics…high pay and good working allowance but did I accepted it?Nope…it’s too far away and honestly I don’t want to work until I squeeze every bit of my energy and sacrifice all my personal life into it.I may not want to be in a relationship now but I would like to keep that option open in the future,Thank you very much.

Went for another interview at CIMB this month.But still waiting for news from it,My friend got the job and he’s already waiting for me to find a house or room together.Slow down boy, this guy here haven’t get any formal response yet.Still keeping my hopes alive but feeling the light is dimming by the second..(BTW, since I recall…my interview there was so-so only…too blurred after whole night of sleep-lackness).

2)Thesis and Exams: Thesis first draft passed up d.But what am I supposed to do next?Am I supposed to get it back after a few days? Friends around me are like doing every possible correction but no news from my (oh-you-are-my-student?) supervisor yet. Having a short break now after two paper…bit upset and VERY worried about the second paper.Can I sucessfully graduate this sem?or there’s black clouds ahead? People say last sem sure no probelm but I am still very worried.Someone please tell me…I don’t want to be unprepared for it.

3)Personal life:Since now there’s no choir now, so boring on Sunday nights…What am I suppose to do? Altough there’s no practice but my “choir” friends still meet up a lot…lol…

(4)Last round of Old town yamcha and crazy singing at Ceriabox (checked) (Actually I want to sing until peach suara…but I ordi become tau-sa voice le)

So many uncertain things around me… Can I make it? Should I do this? Should I have done that? Will I make it? Aiyo so fan…

I leave my future in Your Hands,God.

But at the end, I am (and always will be) grateful for the precious experience I had here…Thank care everybody!

Anyway, many things happened in these few monthes and to be short and precise…here’s what happened and what did I learn from it…

1)Thesis: Rough time i guess..still haven’t completed the data collection and yet there’s news that we have to pass up the thesis on the month of April. Went to gather data at 2 old folks home in Ipoh with three of my fellow course mates.(FYI : My thesis title is : Comparison of lifestyles among Malaysia’s oldest old).

What I learned : Some old folks really need somebody to take care of them, I was really honored to have the chance to listen to some of their amazing stories.Would really want the chance again to meet them someday. On a lighter side, it was a fun trip with you guys : Wei Chien, Pek Wuai and May Ting. Who knew that even a simple night market trip and a taste of Ipoh’s delicacies can be so much fun!

2)Academic : Just had my mid-sem examination for the last 2 weeks. One of it was easy for me while the other one a cruel wake up call for me…I would not like to forget the feelings that I had during that exam.From now on, I promise myself that I will spend more time on it ! I must remember the intial target that I had.

What I learned : Must not slack again….time is running out. Must graduate this semester !

3)Choir : The reason that kept me sane. Had a wonderful choir exchange with UM choir last sunday.It was fun while it lasted.Choir practices getting more precious by the minutes.Three more sunday practices….Choir night and AGM coming soon…

What I learned: The friends that I have met in choir are the ones that I will never forget…These people are the ones that will always have faith in me and are willing to allow me to contribute what I can offer. Waiting for Choir Night with anticipation.Hopefully all the hard work that the current commitees have done can produce some results.

For now, I get the feeling that the end of a chapter in my life is approaching…It was full of emotions along the way….what can I expect in the future? Some of my friends are already gearing up for that future but am I? Going for an work interview this Thursday at Kulim…It’s really a first for me as I have never traveled so far on a “business” trip.Not to mention my first real actual work interview..God please guide me through all these challenges ! I don’t want to lose myself along the way…

Came back to UKM last sunday after spending a month of heaven back at my home sweet home…nothing much done or accomplished there….just plain old recharging and enjoying my holidays…to my surprise there’s already three dogs at my house…and during the month I got the chance to know the two new ones (Sparky and Pebbles) and vice versa…got to say that their daily dog-walking session was a hectic and very energy consuming one…lol

As usual when my family and I came to KL to send me off my uncle brought us around to have some yummy dinner ( and by the way filling me with one month’s supply of pork..haha) . Came back to my UKM house the next day and boy it’s so dirty ! Just can’t bare to watch the cobwebs and the dust accumulated throughout my month’s absent. As usual after cleaning the whole house alone only then i felt that this was the house that I lived in before >.<”…Some people sure have the luxury of coming back here with their hands still dry and clean..

I was totally wiped out that day….took a long night’s sleep and the next day was the last day of 2007.Wow that’s fast….haven’t even the time to recall what I have done in 2007 and it’s already 2008 ! Jia Qi organized a countdown party and I just simply nodded in agreement as I want to have some last stressless fun and was eager to have my first countdown here since my arrival at UKM three years ago…

We went to have steamboat at a place at Serdang…can’t remember the route to it as i was busying trailining Yun Xin’s car in the long long traffic…and may I add that I was totally famished when we arrived at the restaurant at around 830pm…The traffic situation on the road were simply terrible…I had to use every last ounce of my concentration and energy to reach there…luckily the reward there was satisfying…haha…

To put things short (as i don’t want to create another super long post here = = or did i?) It was a fun countdown experience with all my choir buddies in Serdang…with all the fun at the steamboat and consequently at the Gasoline (Gas Online?) pub and The Mines Shopping Center. Sometimes I do wonder whether I can survive in UKM if i don’t join the choir as it is only the place that I felt natural and could blend in. Surely my experiences in the choir is the most previous if not satisfying and dear to me.

This will be my final semester at UKM and frankly I am already starting to feel the pressure coming….assignments and my thesis (which by the way got tougher as I was reassigned to another supervisor due to the unannounced early retirement of my previous supervisor last semester). Hopefully I can graduate from here with a satisfying CGPA and continue what lies ahead…whether venture in the new world of working and pursuing my further studies.

May the year 0f 2008 bring us happiness , greatness in work and relationships and most of all World Peace ^ ^ Y !

今天下午 我终于回到大学来了。

回到来，久别的房间还是那一副老样子…..只是肮脏了许多。

该面对的总该面对吧！

用心用力的打扫了好几个小时，终算让我这个自称有“洁癖”的人稍微满意了一点。房间终算可以住人了

可是打扫的时候，虽然屋子是越来越干净,心情却是越来越低落…..真没出息!又开始想家了….

可是,我才刚刚回到啊!

三个星期的假期,虽然说是让我们拿来准备年尾考试.却时我和家人的欢乐时间….

妈妈煮的菜虽然简单,可是却比外头常吃的杂饭好吃几百倍…

晚上躺在自己的床上,虽然觉得不习惯的冷..心里却是踏实和温暖的.

一个男生那么的想家,是正常的吗?

是不是我一点也没变成熟呢?

在家里的沙发上一边看电视一边和老妈子和老豆聊天,听起来虽然没什么了不起,对我来说却是一个非常开心的机会.

聊着聊着,看着老妈和老豆的脸,才发现…..他们真的老了…

老豆现在不能搬太重的东西了,搬太久脚会痛….

老妈现在越来越早睡了,白天的活动让她好辛苦….

还好小妹在他们身旁,能帮到他们少少…..

爸妈的辛苦我都看到了,可是我现在却是无能为力….

真没用!

回家和妈妈说了我未来两年的计划…她好高兴…爸爸也一脸欣慰..可是我能办得到吗?

读了两年半,才发现这一科真不好读…

看着搬回来的笔记和课本,不知从哪里开始读起….

大后天就考试了,可是我准备了多少?自己心知肚明…

不是不要读,可是真的不会读!

想起以前中五中六的时候,真的让现在的我无话可说…

是我变了吗?

是环境改变了我吗?

来到这间大学,真让我百感交集…

虽然开心和骄傲的事不少,可是我总觉得有些事我办不到….

有些事搞得一蹋糊涂,完完全全失败….

生活上和人际关系上碰了不少钉子…

好想明年快点来噢!

可是我不能就这样放弃!

不行!

这么多年来的牺牲怎么办呢?

老妈和老爸的心怎能开心呢?

我必须办得到!

为了家人,为了弟妹…..

加油吧!

The original purpose of me running back to home is actually to study hard…as I knew that I won’t get any serious studies done at my UKM Bangi house because of some conditions there…Been praying hard (and dreaming hard) that I could get some serious studying done here as I did not have a excellent mid-semester examinations results.Seriously I want to have better,if not same results compared to last semester.Wanna achieve something extraordinary next year…

But I am not complaining here….when was the last time some one complained about home-cooked food?Well i never….And I had the chance to vent out all those hard-suppressed tensions.Who knew that playing the piano and fooling around with my dog in the garden can relieve a person so much?My bro came back with some friends of his for holiday and well for me it was a great opportunity to meet new person and find new friends.

Didn’t had the chance to go out and meet with all my old schoolmates yet but hey that chance will come someday…too bad I can’t catch up with my best buddy Soo Ping as he only had a few days of holiday back here and was busy 24/7. Next time ya pal!

Time is slowly running out….hopefully from now I can turn on the “study mode” (But still keeping “holiday mode” on ^ ^) Work hard for your final exams everybody! Hopefully we can acheive something great together…and at the mean time,enjoy the holidays !

Written originally on last month…i think… ^ ^  a few recalls and last minute typing though…
Wow…finally I am writing it down…

It’s 9pm now and I am finally sitting in front of my notebook,feeling a bit bit tired.Been sleeping and resting whole day,originally wanted to do my boring Philosophy and History of Mathematics assignment but guess now I have to do it later.Maybe someone out there already posted their comments and experiences on the latest Choir Competition but I am trying as much as possible to write out my experiences now..haha

How do I feel in general about the outing this time?Well,to be honest it’s surely a mixed bag of emotion for me.First of all was the hectic communication and paperwork involved when I had to rush to Pusat Kebudayaan everyday to settle everything about the preparation for the competition.I have been never so “Gan Jiong” in my life.Dreading to find the people there everyday but had to brace and strengthen myself in order to settle every teeny-weeny details about the competition. Luckily I had the guidance from Eugene and the ever-supporting from my commitees-Jia Qi,Mei Xian,Fui Na,Mei Huay and Yun Xin.Thanks guys/girls!

And yesterday was the all-so-important day.Where we had the first dose of bad luck.Our bus arrived 2 hours late!ARGH…the commitee went through all the trouble in getting the bus to reach earlier at 11am compared to 1pm earlier but it’s totally as waste of time for those all the members who reached earlier and even skipped their simulation tests and co-curriculum’s activities had to board the bus at 1pm. Oh BOTHER!Well,at least an hour before that Eugene had the vision to do some practice and position arranging in Dectar.Not a too big waste of time. >.<” (p/s: In addition I almost had a heart attack due to somebody’s missing costume….)

Next on we had to endure almost five hours of journey to UTHM,Batu Pahat.It was a bit hot for me sitting in the front seats…But I guess most of us enjoyed the trip when KK and surprise! Terrence and Soo How cracked one IQ jokes and pop questions on everybody at the middle section of the bus.Those who were not playing had their on private time of Zzzzs or chatting and reading on the bus.Amid the very late lunch break(where I for the first time,HONESTLY bought Baskin Robbins) , spirits were high.

It was starting to rain (or it started to stop raining?) when we reach UTHM around 6pm.We rushed off immediately to do our rehearsal and well I thought it turned out a bit serious and problematic at first because Eugene discovered that some of the notes were off and out-of tune (too much laughing and talking on the bus perhaps?).However at the end the overall results was ok and Pau Seen and I discovered that the basses were singing perfectly in tempo.Both of us had the same strange feeling of mouth-mimicking when we sang.Hopefully it will stay the same later. ^ ^

I felt that my throat was a bit too dry (and I tend to go a bit out off tune when i sang a longer note) so I skipped the spicy chicken and ate only the green rice which was served during dinner. By then most of the other participating choirs came and we got the chance to meet UTM,Utar,UPSI, some other local and private higher learning institutions.

The event started off a bit late…and there’s the weird announcement by the MC…two representatives from each choir….ok…Jia Qi come we go!…..and erm…what?!? we have to do some sort of “catwalk” in front of the audiences…oh no oh dear….paiseh la….But i did enjoy chatting with everybody back stage….LOL…

The overall performance was really a mixed bag…come on people…that day at Putrajaya we already saw some “Scarf throwing” and “Flags waving” but  Marching and Flag folding on the stage? Such a disappointment…Until now I still remember Eugene’s solemn face…Guessed he really had a bad surprise ho?However I was really stunned and surprised by the performance by the UM and UTM choir…..too bad we can’t stay for USCI’s perfomance as it was right before our turn…

What do I think about our performance that night?Well…IMHO I think that we can perform better…and the reruns at Yun Xin’s house really nailed my opinion…Hopefully we can perform better next time…however considering our relationships among the members during that time we should be proud of ourselves.Regardless of how we performed that night,we should be proud and stand by it…think of the few practices we had compared to the others…

And there’s the mid-night incident of  the bus stopping beside the highway…well i don’t what to make myself suffer through that whole experience again…but I’ll say what I learned and experienced…next time CHECK the bus’s condition and WRITE DOWN the license plate number…haha…But i must say…many new friendships blossomed that night….between the UM  choir and UKM choir…and even among ourselves…Don’t laugh at me but I have already thought some games and activities for our Choir Exchange next semester based on our singing competition that night ^^…..

Last but not least…A big thank you to everyone that joined the competition and to those who gave their support…hopefully we can be better next year !!

What happened to me lately?Well by the time I posted this it should be the second last week of my first academic session in my final year here at UKM.But surprise surprise !! I have another mid-semester examination next wednesday…so unbelieveable! Well at least I can have a rough estimation of the questions my lecturer will prepare for the finals.Hopefully I can survive it…Yesterday was the Mid-autumn festival..nothing special for me.Spend the whole day in my room..surfing the net and doing my Falsafah assignment.

Seriously i am getting very bored and sick of the assignments that so call Dr. Alinor gave…Until now we have to finish 5 assignments,3 book reviews and 3 essays reflecting on so called maths education quality in Malaysia.Like there’s any connection to what we are studying now.IMHO, Mathematics history is still acceptable but why in the world are we supposed to study logic and philosophy of various world cultures?And yes gaining knowledge is always a fun experience but what would you think when the words “Well, I gave you all so many assignments so that you’ll be busy as a final year student should be…” coming from your lecturer’s mouth?

And the way he conducts the class…well lectures at night is still ok by me.But he spents half on the 3 hour lecture talking about nonsense.He can be so carried by one tiny point and drag on and on about it.Haiz….That’s why i don’t like to attend his classes.I don’t even have to encourage and force myself to attend the class like the other subjects because well…even the brilliant students are skipping it…

I am so looking forward the 3 weeks of holiday on October.At least I can study without constantly worrying what should I have for lunch and dinner.And there’s my mum’s home cooking..yummy….So bored and scared of eating mixed rice daily for each meal…sometimes I rather skip it or have simple bread and soup for lunch…haha…I am so not a traditional chinese…There’s a old Chinese saying that one will feel uncomfortable if he doesn’t have a grain of rice in a day but that does not apply to me…spare me from mixed rice for a day and i’ll be happy though!

Choir?Well I am enjoying as much as i can…it’s an oasis from those boring assignments and routine classes. Chatting and fooling around with the members turns me back into a sane person,haha….It’s a great relief to see so many people still coming for our practices even there’s nothing (I mean performances) for us to prepare for…and we learned so much..However there’s some faces that I haven’t seen for a while,hopefully they can pop-up again… someday…sometime….I sincerely hope there are no dropout of the members this year…the committees had been working so hard..

We had a great BBQ party a few weeks back…a great work done by Hoc Mun and everybody who helped out..felt so happy when so many of the members turned up at the party. It’s an warming experience for me to see everybody chatting and fooling around…the member’s have been so committed this year , waiting and working patiently during those all-so hectic performances. They really deserved some kind of reward and rest..
